Its a fine sunday evening, as classical music notes linger in the atmosphere, pleasing to the many ears in the garden.
Straw baskets filled with food and wine were placed on mats that laid on the grass.
Trees swayed as if it was dancing with the wind and bubbles flew in the air.
The scenery set the most beautiful background for the families that came in love and happiness.
Mothers preparing the food and wine,
Fathers playfully carrying their child up on high,
Grandparents simply having a relaxing time,
And couples looking each other eye to eye,
and oh, kids rolling down the slope countless times.
Im not dreaming.
But it feels like a dream.
Its a lovely sight I saw and thankful to be part of it as we (man tou and me) have a little "picnic" at the Botanical Gardens listening to the Singapore Symphony Orchestra performing at the Shaw Foundation Amphitheater.
It brought back plenty of memories of my own, as my mom always used to bring us out for picnics and kite flyings. Although reminiscing the wonderful times I had when I was young, its a joy to the heart on that sunday evening too.
This may be what heaven looks like and God is already preparing us for such peaceful life.
He made us yearn for such good times, that we will always desire to have Family Times.
"There is a time for everything, but everything cannot be compared to family things."
